Capstone ePortfolio Showcase

For their capstone projects, students composed electronic portfolios (ePortfolios) to integrate what they have learned, both inside and outside of class, about philanthropic studies as a field of knowledge and about themselves as engaged citizens and emerging professionals entering the workplace or graduate school. Each ePortfolio featured in this virtual showcase presents students’ articulation of their identities as learners and professionals seeking to impact their communities.

Our theme

We chose “Change Makers” as the theme for our capstone showcase. The last year has been unprecedented, a year none of us were prepared for. Philanthropy has been at the forefront of it all, a first response for the COVID-19 pandemic and a spearhead for social movements.

Our degree in philanthropic studies has enabled us to be change makers, historically helping to change the world in the past, currently helping to change the present and we will continue to make changes in the future.

We are resilient, adaptable, and leaders in philanthropy. We are Change Makers! Our experiences have empowered us to impact the world around us and we hope that you can see that our e-portfolios have captured our stories of change.

We invite you to watch brief video presentations of our ePortfolios below, and then to click through our ePortfolios directly. Please use the provided brief surveys to leave feedback unique to each student. Thank you for taking time to visit with us. We look forward to your feedback about our work!

In the last year we have faced a time in history that none of us were prepared for. Philanthropy has been at the forefront of it all. With a degree from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy we are prepared to make a difference. We are Change Makers.
