M.A. in Philanthropic Studies
Part-time students can finish their graduate certificate in one year and complete their master’s degree in two to three years.
Full-time students can complete the master’s program in up to two years.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required with a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average (on a scale of 4.0), and a minimum 3.0 average in your major field. Applicants with a grade point average below 3.0 may still be considered for admission based on the strength of the other portions of the application.
Three letters of recommendation to the admissions committee are required.

You’ll need to write a short 500-word essay answering one of three questions.

3. What is a significant challenge in philanthropy today that interests you? How do you see yourself addressing this challenge and how will your education with the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy benefit you in doing so?

The GRE requirement is currently waived due to COVID-19.
