The PhilD program courses are designed to be completed sequentially. The courses are online, asynchronous with optional live meetings on zoom.

Year 1: 18 credits

• Community Collaboration, Power, Politics and Philanthropy (3 credits)

Year 2: 18 credits

• The Art & Science of Synthesis (3 credits)
• Philanthropy, Justice, and Ethics (3 credits)
• Philanthropy Practices & Policies (3 credits)
• Data for Good (3 credits)
• Philanthropic Leadership Case Study (3 credits)
• Applied Philanthropy Project II (3 credits)

Year 3: 12 credits

• Thesis research and reading (3 courses, 4 credits each)
