To ensure the success of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, we rely on the support of our global network of alumni and friends. Your generosity will further establish the school as the international leader of philanthropic research, practice, and academic study.
Where can you help?
- Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Fund
As the world’s first school of philanthropy, we appreciate alumni and friends who give to the school of philanthropy fund. Gifts to this fund advance the school’s key priorities—like expanding student support, growing research in the field, and convening nonprofit leaders—and are put to use immediately where they are needed most.
Your gift to the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy fund ensures that we remain the internationally recognized leader in philanthropic research, practice, and academic study.
- Alumni Association Scholarship
Established in 2011, the alumni association scholarship helps deserving students complete their Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies or Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from SPEA. Scholarship recipients are chosen by the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy alumni board and are awarded $1,000.
Your gift to the alumni association scholarship fund helps us grow this endowed fund and support scholarships for worthy students in perpetuity.
- Dottie Rosso Scholarship Fund
Dorothy C. “Dottie” Rosso along with her husband Henry A. “Hank” Rosso played an integral role in founding The Fund Raising School. Dottie’s encouragement in continuing Hank’s legacy and her affirmation of our programs have allowed us to fulfill Hank’s vision for the study of philanthropy and fundraising.
The Dottie Rosso Scholarship is a 50 percent tuition scholarship for an individual associated with a small nonprofit to attend The Fund Raising School.
Your gift to the Dottie Rosso Scholarship Fund enables individuals working at small nonprofits to receive the professional training they need to improve their organizations.
- Executive Master’s Scholarship Match
The Lilly Family School of Philanthropy recently received a generous commitment from the Tomberg Family Philanthropies totaling $30,000 to support scholarships for our out-of-state executive M.A. students. Beginning in 2015, Tomberg Family Philanthropies will contribute $10,000 for three years if the school is able to raise equivalent matching contributions.
Your gift to support the Executive Master’s scholarship program can be matched 1:1 and provide flexibility for a student to attend the program that he or she may not have otherwise been able to.
- Women’s Philanthropy Institute
Anyone—a fundraiser, nonprofit leader, or donor—who wants to end the world’s most serious problems must engage both men and women. If not, we’re leaving important philanthropic dollars untapped—it’s that simple.
You can help WPI grow philanthropy today by making a contribution to our general support fund, which can fund research and education outreach, among many other vital initiatives designed to encourage women philanthropists.
For questions about how your gift can help support WPI, please contact Ann Boyd-Stewart at firstname.lastname@example.org.
