Timothy ‘Tim’ Fisher serves as Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for advising school leadership with respect to financial reporting, planning and practices as well as directing the daily financial activity of the school including transaction processing and procedures, budgeting, financial analysis and planning.
Mr. Fisher brings to the school over 25 years of higher education administration experience within Indiana University as a senior financial manager for programs on both the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses. He has previously served the University as Director of Finance for the IHETS technology consortium, Director of Fiscal Affairs & Development Officer for the School of Social Work and Manager of Financial Analysis & Reporting for the University’s Information Technology Services. And in addition, he has previously held administrative positions with Purdue University as well.
He earned his B.S. in Business at Ball State University, M.S. in Higher Education Administration at Purdue University, Certificate of Executive Leadership at Vanderbilt University’s School of Management, and a Certificate in Fundraising Principles and Techniques from The Fund Raising School at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. In addition, Mr. Fisher has also held associate instructor appointments for Indiana University’s School of Environmental and Public Affairs and Kelley School of Business.
