Stephanie Goodrid Lawson is the Executive Director of the McKinney Family Foundation, which supports policies and practices that promote environmental responsibility to realize green, healthy and sustainable communities in Indiana. Previously, she was a gift officer with the Eskenazi Heath Foundation, where she spearheaded the Marianne Tobias Music Program as well as the Foundation’s women’s philanthropy and public art program initiatives. Stephanie served as development officer with the Indiana University Foundation on the Leadership Annual Giving Team, raising funds for scholarships and programs throughout Indiana University. During graduate school she had the opportunity to work as a graduate assistant at the Center on Philanthropy. Prior to becoming a professional fundraiser, Stephanie dedicated her early career to human rights focused international non-governmental organizations such as the Center for the Prevention of Genocide in Washington, DC, and the International Federation of the Red Cross Red Crescent in Geneva, Switzerland. Stephanie has both lived and traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Currently in Indianapolis, she enjoys volunteering in her community, holding positions on the IU SPEA Distinguished Alumni Committee, the Foundation for Complex Healthcare Solutions Board of Directors. Previously she served as the Director of IT and Social Media on the Impact 100 Greater Indianapolis Board of Directors, Park Tudor Alumni Board and the President of the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Alumni Board. She has also enjoyed serving as a guest lecturer for SPEA undergraduate nonprofit management courses.
