Melynne has been the director of the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation (CDFF) since 2006. During that time she has helped oversee more than 25 million dollars in grants approved by the CDFF Board, primarily provided to arts and cultural organizations in the Indianapolis community.
Prior to the Family Foundation, Melynne worked at Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a major fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation, and at Christel House International, a public charity founded by Christel DeHaan during her tenure as a graduate student at Indiana University.
In addition to representing the foundation in the community and working to advance the arts, Melynne volunteers with several organizations. She is currently serving as chair of the Board of Visitors for the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. Additionally, she and her husband, David, are active members and volunteers at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
Melynne and David are the proud parents of three children, ages 8, 5, and 3.
