Director of the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative and Assistant Professor of Philanthropic Studies
Duties of the Director of the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative (MPI) and Assistant Professor of Philanthropic Studies will include, research, teaching, leadership, and service to the school and campus.
A Ph.D. is required but the disciplinary field is open and may be in philanthropic studies, nonprofit management, religious studies, anthropology, economics, history, political science, public policy, sociology, or other related fields. Teaching and research experience in philanthropic studies (broadly defined) or related areas of interest is strongly desired.
The faculty of the school will look for an excellent scholar, who will thrive in our collegial community, engage in building the field of philanthropic studies, and demonstrate an interest in engaging current and future practitioners.

Senior Administrative Secretary
The IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy Senior Administrative Secretary assists management in daily operations of the research department at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Provides support to the Associate Dean for Research and International Programs/Dean’s Fellow, Mays Institute, and other members of the research, international programs, and Mays Institute. This position will also provide support by assisting in the development of guidelines and procedures for the department, tracking funding and effort on research grants and special projects, and serves as a liaison within the department to current and prospective research partners and other key constituent groups of the school.
Part-Time Marketing and Communications Assistant
M-F (between the hours of 8am-5pm; 15 hours/week during spring semester and approximately 25 hours/week during the summer)
· Contribute to the creation of visual communications such as invitations, brochures, flyers, and infographics
· Assist with social media marketing efforts through writing and posting school-related information to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
· Provide website assistance including but not exclusive to content creation and updates
· Assist with email marketing creation and reporting
· Applicants should possess knowledge of the structure and content of English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
· Basic to intermediate design skills (working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop etc.)
