- What is the cost of the certificate program?
The cost of the program is based on individual course prices. No other fees apply.
- Do I need to enroll in the university?
No. These are noncredit professional development courses which do not require admission to the university.
- Does it matter what order I take the courses?
We recommend you start with Principles & Techniques of Fundraising. However, you can start with whatever fits your needs and schedule.
- Can I complete the certificate program online?
Yes. To earn your certificate online you will need to complete the following courses:
- Is there a deadline for completing the certificate?
There is no time limit for completing the program. Your certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of your final course.
- What is the time commitment for each course?
In-person courses are two to four days in length; beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m.
Online courses are four to eight weeks in length. You should expect to spend a minimum of four hours a week completing course readings, viewing narrated presentations, participating in discussions, and submitting assignments.
- Do these courses count toward CFRE education hours/points?
Completing the Certificate in Fund Raising Management will fulfill 81-87.75 points required for the CFRE, a professional credential that requires an exam and demonstrated fundraising experience.
